Ashley has extensive background designing reports and interactive experiences that communicate effectively, inspire action, and drive positive behaviors. Her fifteen-year career as an information and interaction designer includes considerable experience in education and healthcare, and in bringing design research and insights to the development of new product concepts. Through her work, Ashley aims to create compelling stories from complex information and abstract data, and to transform confusing or frustrating processes into smooth, seamless interactions. She has a knack for helping people understand each other, and approaches design with a spirit of service and humility. In 2014, Ashley became a Partner at Dezudio, a small consultancy in Pittsburgh dedicated to designing products, services, and systems that are delightful and easy to use. Client collaborations include the United States Postal Service, GlaxoSmithKline, AARP, Philips, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, College Board, and Intel Corporation.Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and a Masters in Design from Carnegie Mellon University, where she is currently an adjunct faculty member.
