MAYA has developed a straightforward eight-question checkup for evaluating projects. The process determines how well projects are following a proper Human-Centered Design process. Evaluations include aspects of user involvement, iterative design, and interdisciplinary teams. In this hands-on session, we will discuss the checkup worksheet and process (and, by extension, good practices of Human-Centered Design). We will then evaluate a mock project and discuss recommended process improvements.
